Fin is an AI agent for customer contact: chatbot software that handles customers' questions by itself. The maker was called Intercom until 2026 and now belongs to Salesforce. Fin replies via chat, email, phone and social media, carries out actions such as a refund and hands over to a member of staff when necessary. It works with the Intercom helpdesk, but also with Salesforce, HubSpot and Freshdesk.
