You install it on your own Windows or Linux server. The price depends on what you connect: 10 log sources cost $795 per year, 2 domain controllers $945 and 100 workstations $245. You can also buy a licence as a one-off, for example $2.386 for 10 log sources. You can try all features free for 30 days; after that it switches to the limited free editions.
