- Virtual PDF printer for Windows
- Free for personal use
- Licence per workstation
- Also for terminal server and server
- Open source
PDFCreator is a program from pdfforge, a brand of Avanquest, with which you create PDFs on Windows. It installs itself as a virtual printer: from any program that can print, you make a PDF. You merge documents, protect them with a password, sign them digitally and have them saved automatically. It is not a PDF editor for changing text; for that, pdfforge refers to PDF Architect.
PDFCreator Free is free for personal use and shows advertisements. For business use there is PDFCreator Professional: € 25 per workstation per year, excluding VAT, with a volume discount from 10 workstations. Terminal Server costs € 420 and Server € 1.350 per server per year. You can try the paid versions free for 30 days.
