PostHog is an open source web analytics tool for teams that build a website or software product. In one dashboard you see visitors, page views, sessions, the bounce rate and where your traffic comes from. You click through to session recordings and create funnels, A/B tests and surveys. You use PostHog in the cloud, also on servers in Frankfurt, or install it on your own server.
You pay by usage, with no fixed monthly amount and no price per user. Web analytics is part of Product analytics: the first 1 million events per month are free. After that you pay from $0,00005 per event; that rate falls with more volume. 5.000 session recordings per month are also free. The free plan does not ask for a credit card and has 1 project. Prices exclude tax.
